The Youth Leadership Conferences are designed to give students unique opportunities to participate in discussion exchanges with authoritative, experienced, and articulate spokes-persons from the military services, government, industry and the academic community. The Conferences are designed to encourage participants to think about what kind of country he or she lives in, what opportunities are available to them, who they are, and where they are going in the future. Patriotic education, leadership development experiences, and teaching responsible citizenship are the focus. Currently, thousands of high school sophomore and junior students participate each year in these conferences.
